Overview of the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Brazil Sales & Marketing to lead our sales efforts and oversee the marketing strategy in Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through your own sales targets, as well as leading and managing a team to achieve their sales goals. You will also be responsible for overseeing the inbound and outbound lead generation strategy, managing the marketing budget, and ensuring that the team utilizes all channels effectively to drive sales through optimizing conversion rates along the conversion funnel (with increasingly better lead generation strategies, development and training to increase sales team's closing rates, and more). This position requires a proven sales leader who is results-driven, understands goal ownership and passionate about both individual and team success.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership and Target Achievement:
- Consistently achieve your individual sales targets (with enterprise-level clients), focusing on bringing in new business and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Lead and inspire the Brazil sales team to meet and exceed their monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Ensure team activity (calls, emails, meetings, events, etc.)
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across the Brazil region.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Track and report on team performance, addressing any gaps in achievement and implementing improvement strategies as needed.
Inbound and Outbound Lead Generation Strategy:
- Own and manage the inbound (paid advertising, SEO, EDM, and others) and outbound (prospecting) lead generation strategy, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality leads for the sales team.
- Collaborate with the SEO, PPC, and content teams to drive lead generation through digital channels.
- Develop multichannel lead generation campaigns, including email marketing, social media, paid media, SEO, and events.
- Continuously analyze lead sources and refine strategies to optimize lead quality and conversion rates.
- Check lead quality on HubSpot, and feedback alongside Chili's internal execution teams for improvement.
Increase Chili's Existing Portfolio (LTV)
- Find upsells, cross-sells, and referral opportunities within Chili's existing client list with the SEO and PPC team and drive sales.
- Create client rapport actions and activations (webinars, training, events, podcasts, etc.)
Marketing Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively across campaigns to maximize ROI and achieve lead generation and sales goals.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that campaigns are executed within budget and timelines.
- Monitor and report on marketing spend, campaign performance, and overall return on investment.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to identify new opportunities for brand growth and lead generation.
Team Management and Development:
- Lead a high-performing sales and marketing team, ensuring alignment between the two functions to drive growth.
- Provide ongoing training and development to ensure the team is up-to-date with best practices and industry trends.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance goals for each team member, ensuring accountability and tracking progress.
- Foster a driven, goal-oriented team culture, encouraging target-meeting and continuous improvement with consistent daily follow-ups.
- Join calls with the team, listen to call-backs (AirCall), analyze video-calls, and more to provide feedback and implement points of development.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute the overall sales and marketing strategy for the Brazil market, aligning with Chili Digital’s business objectives.
- Continuously assess the competitive landscape and market trends, adjusting the strategy to maintain Chili's competitive edge.
- Identify and implement new growth opportunities within the Brazil region, ensuring the company’s continued expansion.
- Report to senior management on sales, lead generation, and marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for further growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior sales role with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets consistently.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
- Deep understanding of inbound lead generation strategies and multi-channel marketing.
- Experience in managing marketing budgets and ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both internal teams and external clients.
- Fluent in Portuguese; English fluency is required, and Spanish is highly desired.
- A natural drive for results and a passion for leading and achieving in a fast-paced environment.
- A deep understanding of the importance of consistent sales for a business, and how it affects all other aspects of the business (hiring, promotions, bonuses, training, tools, etc.)
