We are now looking for a Sales Manager / Business Unit Lead – Mexico to drive growth, build strategic partnerships, and establish Chili as a leading performance marketing partner in the Mexican market.


About the Role

This is both a commercial leadership and business-building role.

As Sales Manager / Business Unit – Mexico, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, closing high-value accounts, and developing the Mexican market as a strategic growth hub for Chili Digital.

You will act as the face of Chili in Mexico — building relationships with decision-makers, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating closely with internal performance teams to ensure successful client onboarding and long-term partnerships.

This role requires strong consultative sales skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of digital marketing performance models (ROI/ROAS-driven environments).

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities in Mexico.

  • Build and manage a strong commercial pipeline aligned with revenue targets.

  • Develop relationships with CMOs, Marketing Directors, and business leaders.

  • Position Chili as a strategic performance partner, not just a media provider.

  • Negotiate contracts and ensure profitable, long-term agreements.

Market Expansion & Business Unit Development

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for Mexico.

  • Identify key industries and verticals with high growth potential.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance marketing opportunities.

  • Contribute to defining pricing models and commercial strategy.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Paid Media, SEO, CRO, and Analytics teams to build winning proposals.

  • Ensure smooth client onboarding and alignment between commercial expectations and operational delivery.

  • Maintain strong client relationships focused on long-term growth and retention.

Performance & Forecasting

  • Own revenue targets and sales KPIs for the Mexican market.

  • Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.

  • Ensure deals align with ROI-driven performance models.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles.

  • Proven track record of closing high-value B2B service deals.

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing (Paid Media, SEO, CRO, ROI/ROAS models).

  • Experience working with marketing decision-makers and C-level stakeholders.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a business unit.

  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

  • Based in Mexico or with deep knowledge of the Mexican market.
